Pilates develops all of the physical attributes required to maintain balance: Awareness of your body alignment (posture), strength, flexibility and control. “Balance in motion” or suppleness is essential in our daily lives - whether you are an elite sports person or you just want to be able to put your own socks on!

Pilates works on “balancing out” your body - lengthening tight areas, strengthening weaknesses, combating the strains and stresses that our bodies have to deal with day in and day out. (Be those hours sitting at a desk or training for a triathlon).
